Purpose-Built Workshop

Our Silverdale workshop has been specifically designed to support the needs of our RV and Caravan installation customers. It is easy to access from the motorway, offers excellent parking, and customers can even park and stay in the motorhome overnight. Our showroom provides restrooms, kitchenette facilities and comfortable seating if you need to remain on-site while work is being carried out. Most of our solar engineers operate from our Silverdale office, so it is the perfect opportunity to pick their brains about all things solar.

How does shipping and installation work?

We ship within one business day of receipt of order anywhere in NZ. If you would like us to arrange installation, please tick the installation box at check out and we will call you to provide a quote for installation or direct you to a local installer.

How do I Get My NZMCA Discount?

All NZMCA members are eligible for a 5% discount on all products and services. Provide proof of your membership when paying for your installation.

How much does a new solar installation cost?

Starter packages designed to support basic needs, primarily lighting, pump, gas detector and extractor fan and limited use and charging from your radio, TV, phone and computer cost approximately $1800. Supersized systems designed to support liveaboard 4-6 berth off-grid living at prices around $8,000. These systems are suitable for people looking to power a compressor fridge/freezer, e-bike, lights, pump, gas detector, extractor fan, motor-mover, slide-outs, radio, TV, phone, computer, microwave, toaster, blender, vacuum, and washing machine.

Can I stay at the workshop the night before, during or after installation?

Yes, there is plenty of room in our car park.

Why use solar power?

The most significant advantage is the independence you will acquire from not relying on mains power when travelling. It will give you the freedom to go wherever you want for however long.
